I have been playing the role of a wife for over a month now and as much as I want to claim I am busy as a bee, Alhamdulillah, everything is manageable. I have a very patient and understanding husband to thank for. Nonetheless, I can't find a decent time and space to pen my thoughts on the many things that has happened like my own wedding, the political shift and some other happenings.

So, as for now, let's just settle with a continuation from my previous blog. As promised, we humbly share our happiness by showing you our wedding pics. Please proceed with the following link ya.

Thank you so much for those who came and gave well wishes from afar. My husband and I as well as our big family are blessed with kind gestures and love from all around. It just blew us away.

There were definitely some hiccups in the midst of the preparation; both my event and my husband’s. But alhamdulillah, everything turned out to be beautiful. I am humbled and have so much gratitude for Allah for all His blessings.

Bagi setiap pasangan yang diijab kabul, mereka diraikan dalam majlis kenduri kahwin atau disebut walimatul urus kerana melalui majlis inilah perkahwinan pasangan terbabit diketahui ramai pihak, sekali gus mengelak prasangka buruk terhadap mereka

Henceforth, I am announcing that I am officially married to Iz on the 2nd of February 2008. Unfortunately, I was not able to inform this great news by extending the invitation for the walimatulurus reception as it is basically a close family and close friends affair. I earnestly hope that with the announcement made in this blog, no one will attempt to say we had a secret wedding or trying to keep our relationship a secret.

We hope to share our happiness by showing you our wedding pics which insyaAllah will be uploaded by our photographers from ilusi images soon. So, tunggu ya.

Alhamdulillah, Iz and I will be holding our wedding ceremonies soon. In regards to this event, there are several things I would like to share with you.

We have been engaged for quite a while but the news was kept quiet as to respect my parents’ wishes. The news is kept hidden not to proclaim that I am still ‘available’ nor was it done with the intention to hurt. But if there are any of you, my friends, who were hurt from what I was obligated to do, I truly apologize. Nonetheless, I hope you can understand the situation I was in.

Secondly, I believe many of you are aware on our courtship that begun in UiTM. Many of you had bear witness to the good times and bad times that Iz and I had gone through in building the beautiful relationship that the two of us share today. Therefore, it is with much humility that we would like to extend our invitation for you to share in our joy by attending the groom’s wedding reception on the 17th of February 2008 which will be held at Meru, Klang. But of course, this invitation is extended to those who are personally acquainted to the two of us (we wouldn’t want wedding crashers like Owen Wilson or Vince Vaughn do we?). Hence, we would really appreciate it if you would sms/email your full name (plus nama samaran) and your address to 019-277.1252 or nawzi81@hotmail.com so we could deliver the invitation cards.
